The course outlines: History of Clubs in NSW, the Strategic Capabilities needed to be a Director, and then goes into detail around the roles and responsibilities of directors, the roles and responsibilities of the board, roles and responsibilities of the CEO, typical legislation encountered and appropriate decision making. It provides vital information for those nominating for a board position and a refresher for directors who have served for some time. The course forms part of the larger Club Director Nomination Pack. | Capability Framework: Measuring Board Performance The Capability Framework features five key and measurable capabilities to which club directors and senior managers should aspire. The Capability Framework Assessment is a tool that directors can use to assess their strengths individually and collectively as a board. It recognises that boards are made up of individual directors with strengths in different and complementary areas.
