CDI Certificate of Recognition for Achievement in Professional Development

Inclusive dates

The inclusive dates are designed to capture one year of professional development. CDI membership must be held by the applicant at the time of the application and education should, ideally, be completed between 1 November 2010 and 31 October 2011. This can include education completed at the ClubsNSW 2011 Conference and Trade Expo

Closing dates

  • Application for the Certificate of Recognition of Professional Development must be received by Friday 18 November.
  • This is so we can process the application and prepare certificates for presentation at a regional meeting before the close of 2011.

Receipt of certificates

Certificates will be presented at the next appropriate CDI seminar or regional meeting. Announcements of successful recipients of the 2011 certificate will be made in first edition of Club Director for 2012.

About the Recognition of Professional Development program

The Recognition of Professional Development program is a method of documenting evidence of directors’ and senior managers’ ongoing professional development over a twelve-month period. It represents directors’ and senior managers’ commitment to educational development that is linked with improving club performance and service delivery.

The goals of the program are: 

  • Support the continued professional development of directors and senior managers,
  • Reward and recognise directors and senior managers who provide excellence in fulfilling their role and responsibilities and
  • Provide a structured program to assist directors and senior managers develop their knowledge.
