Learning & Development Program: ClubsNSW Governance program

The Governance Program is designed for boards, CEOs and aspiring senior managers wanting to obtain a solid understanding of the complexity and dynamics of the club industry. Practical knowledge and skills needed to lead a club into the future will be gained by completing industry-written and presented courses. 

2013 ClubsNSW Governance Program

The 2013 ClubsNSW Governance Program will be delivered to directors and managers in designated regions through 2013.
Each regional location provides participants with the opportunity to complete the full five sessions in one week, or attend any session as part of their ongoing progress through the program. At the end of each session, participants will receive the Certificate of Completion, confirming the skills and knowledge they have gained.

Accredited or non-accredited program?

You have a choice to participate in the non-accredited governance program, by completing the ClubsNSW training courses and you will receive the ClubsNSW Certificate in Governance (certificate of completion for individual courses).

To participate in the accredited governance program, you are required to complete the ClubsNSW training courses, as well as submit your completed workbooks within 8 weeks of the training date for marking. Once you have been deemed competent in all the Units of Competency, you will receive a nationally recognised, Certificate IV in Governance (BSB040907) from the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT), including a statement of attainment for individual courses.
