ClubsNSW is very pleased to be supporting this special day that is celebrated on the last Sunday of October each year.

This year, Grandparents Day will take place on the 28th of October.

Grandparents Day was established by the NSW Government in September 2011 as a day to acknowledge the valuable role grandparents have always played in society by offering care, guidance, love and support to their children and grandchildren. As stated by Premier Barry O'Farrell: "Grandparents are the unsung heroes in our community and it's only appropriate they are recognised with a day in their honour”. 

As the heart of the community, this is a great opportunity for clubs to further reinforce the important role they play in society.
