SEMINARS
CDI are approaching the seminars differently in 2010. Our regional members will enjoy the seminars as they always have; in conjunction with the regional meetings. Metro members will enjoy the opportunity to attend a business breakfast held at a choice of two locations with a keynote delivered by a premier business speaker.
Any member can attend any session. For example, if you would like to attend both the workshop and the keynote, that is fine. CDI members are always welcome to attend sessions in different regions.

Seminar 2: Leadership through change
Become the proponent of change at your club at board level.
This seminar is not about what to change, but about being the type of board member to lead the change. Change is part of club strategy – what your club does today is different to what it will do tomorrow.
Leadership through Change, hosted by future Achievement Australia's Wayne Deeth, will help directors to assess their current leadership skills and provide them the tools they need to develop a new direction for themselves and their board.

Seminar 3: Strategic Marketing
Intense competition and the erosion of gaming revenue means that your club’s strategy must become responsive to new markets and the way your club presents itself. This keynote presentation probes the connections between the strategic plan, marketing plan, the board and management team, and – the holy grail – really knowing who your members are.
