ClubsNSW is championing a new community based program called Max Potential. The program was recently featured in the July and August issues of Club Life magazine , and we are interested in identifying registered clubs who might be interested in participating in 2009.

Working through ClubsNSW, and with the support of a local club, Max Potential provides an excellent cost-effective program for clubs looking to maximise their involvement with local communities through their connection with young people. The program also falls under CDSE category 1.  

The program also falls under CDSE category 1. In 2008, there have been six Max Potential programs run at;

  • Club Mudgee
  • Penrith Panthers
  • Deniliquin RSL Club 
  • Gosford RSL Club
  • Finley Returned Soldiers Club

  • Mingara Recreation Club

Max Potential connects community leaders with emerging young leaders to;

- ACCELERATE their potential to achieve over 22 weeks.
- BUILD their ‘can do’ attitude through a community project.
- CHALLENGE them to lift their game through 12 hours of personalised coaching.
- DEVELOP their entrepreneurial spirit through encouraging their leadership.

  • Max Potential is not a course – it’s about personal leadership coaching
  • The program provides the opportunity for you and your club to help make a difference to both the life of a young leader as well as your local community
  • Max Potential trains volunteers from the club and the community as personal leadership coaches; training that will provide you with a success pattern on leadership principles to integrate into your own life and business
  • Max Potential is about building lives, leadership and the future

ClubsNSW is keen to facilitate clubs enhancing their community engagement and are therefore keen for many more clubs to run Max Potential programs in 2009.  So, if your club is interested in joining the Max Potential program, or would like more information on how it works and how your club can become involved contact;
