The association conducts a wide and diverse range of events and programs catering for the novice to the elite Paralympian. These activities take place throughout the year in Sydney and other locations across regional NSW.

ClubsNSW is proud to be a sponsor of two WS NSW programs;

Junior Wheelie Christmas Camp

This is a three day weekend where the Junior members are involved in a weekend of fun, fitness and fellowship. The program has been established to introduce the juniors to a wide variety of activities including swimming, sailing, cricket, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, athletics, drama and a visit from the popular Santa Claus.

The camp runs from December 12-14, 2008 and campers are welcomed from metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW.

Junior Wheelie Sports Program

Junior development is a fundamental objective for WS NSW. The comprehensive Junior Wheelie Sports Program is an excellent way to introduce younger generations to a variety of wheelchair sports whilst increasing their self esteem, confidence and independence.

The 2008/9 Junior Wheelie Sports Program consists of 10 monthly Learn to Play Days which are conducted in Sydney and regional NSW. The days are designed to cover several sports, chair awareness skills and opportunities for the Juniors to meet together and play.

The instructors/ coaches/ mentors are current or retired athletes from the highlighted sport. The sports are typically athletics, wheelchair tennis or wheelchair basketball.
