ClubsNSW is proud to be the major partner of the Sydney 2009 World Masters Games

The Games will be held from 10-18 October 2009 with over 25,000 competitors expected to take part with an overall 60,000 visitors descending upon Sydney, making it the largest multi-sport event in the world. The Games will see 28 sports contested over nine days at over 70 venues throughout Greater Sydney.  Many of these venues are owned and or operated by registered clubs. In addition it is ClubsNSW’s expectation that many of the Games related functions will be hosted at clubs.

ClubsNSW will, in due course, provide more information to clubs indicating how they can register their interest in terms of sponsorship, accommodation, entertainment, athletes, volunteers, etc. This information will also be communicated to clubs at upcoming ClubsNSW regional meetings. In addition, a road show will tour NSW promoting the Sydney 2009 World Masters Games. Clubs will have an opportunity to become host venues for the road tour. Again, clubs will be advised of the application process.
