COURT ASKED TO RULE ON OUTDOOR AREAS
ClubsNSW has today commenced proceedings in the NSW Supreme Court in a bid to secure a legal interpretation of what constitutes an outdoor area where club patrons can legally smoke.

ClubsNSW welcomes today's announcement by Premier Morris Iemma that NSW will continue to remain a one casino state.

ClubsNSW will today hand over a cheque for $500,000 to the Sydney 2009 World Masters Games as part of its continuing support of NSW sport.

DISCOS GETS CLUB BED BY FEE HIKE
Registered clubs are expected to significantly scale down the number of discos held following a ruling that sees registered clubs charged as nightclubs with music royalties increasing from 7 cents to 105 cents per person, a hike in excess of 1000%.

Clubs have declared themselves ready for indoor smoking bans ahead of this Monday's official starting date.
