WILKIE COMES CLEAN ON COST TO CLUBS OF FINGER PRINTING POKIE PLAYERS
ClubsAustralia says Andrew Wilkie’s admission this morning that his deal with the Prime Minister for a mandatory pre-commitment system will reduce club revenue by up to 40%, translates into a $2.1 billion annual loss for Australia’s 4,000 registered clubs.

CLUBS WANT GOVERNMENT SECRET DEAL WITH CASINO REVEALED
NSW clubs have had electronic roulette and blackjack games (known in the industry as multi- terminal gaming machines) since 1996. The machines are a type of poker machine, something NSW has had since 1956.

ClubsAustralia is calling on the Prime Minister to rule out technology being pushed by Senator Nick Xenophon that forces Australians to scan their finger print before they play a poker machine.

Deniliquin raised Liam Fleming has won the prestigious Young Achiever in Clubs Award for his role helping the Moama Bowling club rebuild from a fire in June 2008 in which one third of it was destroyed.
