  • CDI Regional Seminars - Two Half Day Seminars aligned to regional meetings 
  • 2016 National Governance and Management Congress – Tuesday 1st March 2016 in Brisbane (view the full program and registration)
  • Mandatory Director Training around the state throughout the year (Dates and Locations) around the state 
  • Online Training – via ClubsNSW Online Learning Centre
  • Facilitated Training – program of your choice delivered to your club 
  • Strategic Planning Facilitation - to assist with your club's strategic plan
  • ClubPATHWAYS Program - training and workshops to directors, leaders and club staff

New in 2016

• Board Performance Assessment Tool (BPAT)
BPAT is a simple self-assessment tool to assist club boards measure their progress in governance journey. Skills and knowledge gaps will also be identified assisting clubs to improve their performance. Available online, each club’s governance team can fill out the survey and the results will provide a benchmark for their governance performance, individually and collectively. 

• Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
This new voluntary CPD program is a simple way to record and recognise the commitment and involvement of directors, in staying fully informed on governance and related topics, helping ensure an industry-leading application of governance.

2016 CDI Membership

A New Era in Learning

CDI Membership runs from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016. CDI Membership is per director, and can be transferred to an incoming director/manager following the election to the board or change of employment.

The annual CDI Membership fee is only $160 per member*. All Club Chairs will again receive complimentary CDI membership.

CDI Seminars

Two half day seminars in conjunction with the regional meetings.

The CDI regional seminars will return to two half day seminars tailored on a region by region basis in conjunction with the regional meetings. The key topics will be delivered by industry experts.

Your Club's Social Responsibilities – the Guide has been launched and details industry best practice on how to engage with your local community, to ensure you meet your community’s expectation. They grant us a social licence to operate, so come and hear great tips on engaging in projects and community support to provide the maximum benefit to your club and the community alike;

The Code Authority – many are aware that the Code Authority exists, but few have any real understanding of how the Code operates, what the process is for appealing to the Code Authority and the way it is intended to support the proper implementation of the ClubsNSW industry Code of Practice.

These are essential topics for your board and senior managers to attend and stay abreast of the latest in Governance and the new focus on Corporate Social Responsibility.
