Member clubs are advised that the Coronavirus Economic Response Package (Jobkeeper Payments) Amendment Bill 2020 (the Bill) was passed by Parliament today.
Further to circular 20-149, the Bill extends the:
- JobKeeper subsidies to eligible businesses; and also
- Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act) JobKeeper Enabling Directions provisions to businesses that will no longer be eligible for JobKeeper subsidies after 28 September 2020, but have a decline in turnover of at least 10% in the designated quarter (see circular 20-149 for more information).
