Member clubs are advised that, today, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian expanded the areas where masks are mandatory indoors to include Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the local government areas (LGAs) of Wollongong and Shellharbour. The Central Coast is not included.
The requirements take effect today (Tuesday, 22 June 2021) at 4pm and are scheduled to expire at 12:01am Thursday, 1 July 2021.
The mask-wearing requirements will be the same as those which applied to Greater Sydney in early May 2021.
In making the announcement, the Premier also foreshadowed that it will be compulsory for all retail businesses to use the Service NSW ‘check-in’ system.
