Member clubs are advised that NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian today announced changes to the restrictions and requirements in the Public Health Order.
Mandatory Service NSW app
The Premier announced it would be mandatory for hospitality venues to use the Service NSW QR code to check in patrons from 1 January 2021.
Capacity and density restrictions — clubs in Greater Sydney, Wollongong and the Central Coast
Capacity and density restrictions will continue to apply to clubs in Greater Sydney, Wollongong and the Central Coast. These restrictions were added to the Public Health Order to commence on Monday, 21 December 2020. Unlike the limitations on gatherings in residential premises, the restrictions on hospitality venues have no specific expiry date, which means they will continue until the expiry of the Public Health Order on 5 March 2021 — unless the Order is revoked earlier or the restrictions are replaced in a new Order.
