Further to Circular 20-235, the NSW Government has flagged that the Service NSW app will be mandatory for all hospitality venues to check-in patrons from 12 noon on 1 January 2021.
Information on using the Service NSW app can be found in Circular 20-162.
Service NSW has released a detailed Check-in FAQ guide as a resource for hospitality venues on how to manage the transition to the Service NSW app. The guide contains a range of practical information on how to implement the app, what to do in the event of a service outage, and how to sign-in patrons that do not have a smartphone, or any phone, among other things. Clubs are strongly encouraged to utilise the guide.
