Member clubs are advised that the NSW Minister for Health has enacted the following changes to the Public Health Order. The changes commenced yesterday, 28 September 2020.
Maximum capacity of corporate events increased to 300
The maximum capacity of corporate events has been increased from 150 to 300 attendees. The maximum capacity of a corporate event is also subject to the one person per four square metres rule.
The maximum capacity of weddings (150) as well as wakes and memorial or religious services (100) remains unchanged.
Patrons may stand to play a game
The Public Health Order requires patrons to remain seated as far as practicable, irrespective of whether the person is consuming alcohol.
Under the changes to the Public Health Order, patrons are now permitted to stand to play a game — including pool and darts — on the condition that they are not drinking alcohol.
