Legislation Gives Effect To Clubs Reopening On 1 June 2020
Legislation has now been made which gives effect to the club industry’s reopening on 1 June 2020. The Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 3) 2020 (the Order) can be found here.
Some local police have refrained from discussing reopening standards with clubs until the Order is made. Member clubs are encouraged to share the details of the Order with local police, to ensure the club’s arrangements are compliant.
The Order requires clubs to address matters in a NSW Health Checklist, which can be found here.
The Order provides further information on certain requirements, of which can be found in circular 20-077.
