Record Number Of Entries Received For Chef's Table

The Chef’s Table culinary competition recognises the talented and creative chefs, cooks and apprentices who work within registered clubs in New South Wales. Keenly contested every year, the judging panel has the difficult task of blind marking the creative and innovative submissions we receive, and this year was no exception.

We received a record number of entries from culinary professionals in clubs across the state, a significant increase from previous years as we see the competition growing bigger and better.

All entries were of a high calibre and were commended by the judging panel, who had the challenging task of distinguishing the finalists.

ClubsNSW would like to also thank and congratulate all of the entrants for the time and effort spent on the preparation of their submissions. All entries were of a high calibre and the judging panel was extremely impressed with the menu structure incorporating this year’s key ingredient rosemary.

Final Events and Awards Dinner

All finalists will now be required to prepare, cook and serve all menu items as nominated in their written submission for a minimum of 25 guests at their club. The culinary teams will be assessed and scored by a judging panel placed both in the kitchen and dining room/restaurant.

The pressure has definitely increased for this year’s competing clubs which is made up of a number of new teams as well as a few familiars back to do it all again.

The final events will be held between Monday 11 May 2015 and Friday 12 June 2015.

The 2015 winners will be announced at the Chef’s Table Awards Dinner on Monday 20 July 2015 at the Revesby Workers Club.  Tickets for the awards dinner will be made available shortly.
