Entry Exceptions – Identity Verification



When a patron signs into your venue using ClubPASS, you may need to verify their identity if they have a new ClubPASS account, have recently updated their identity in the ClubPASS app or your club’s entry policy requires additional verification. 

To resolve this entry exception: 

  1. Select the Resolve button against a patron. This will take you to the Patron Details page.

  2. A module will appear to verify the patrons ID. 

  3. Confirm the patron’s details by asking for their relevant photo ID. If you need to update any details, click the Edit button. 
    ClubPASS patron verification does not guarantee identification of a patron. It is a requirement for clubs that photo ID is presented by patrons for review prior to entry. Photo ID verification is required even if a patron has been previously verified in the ClubPASS system. 

  4. Click the Save and Verify button when you’re done. 

  5. The verify patron details entry exception has now been resolved. 

  6. If there are no more entry exceptions to resolve, click the Allow Entry button.
