Refuse Entry or Ban a Patron

If a patron cannot satisfy your club’s conditions of entry, you can choose to refuse their entry into the club. For more serious offences, you can place a ban notice within their ClubPASS record.

If the patron has no entry exceptions:

  1. When someone signs in to your venue using ClubPASS, click the More Details button under the name and click the Eject button to refuse entry to the patron.
  2. Enter the reason, duration and a comment for the entry refusal.
  3. Then click the Eject Patron button. The patron has now been ejected from your venue within ClubPASS.

If the patron has an entry exception

  1. Click the View Issue button against their record.
  2. Then click the Refuse button.
  3. Enter the reason, duration and a comment for the entry refusal.

If the duration selected is longer than ‘just once’, you’ll see that the patron has now been banned.

If the patron attempts to sign into your club using ClubPASS while the ban is still in effect, this will be listed against their sign-in attempt.
