The latest ClubGrants advertising campaign highlights the impact of clubs in Penrith and surrounding areas, focusing on organisations that deliver mentoring and early intervention programs for young people.
For kids within the Penrith LGA, the right support can be life changing. These organisations help the next generation build confidence, develop life skills and make positive choices through mentoring, wellbeing programs, recreation and early intervention, ensuring those growing up in the community have the chance to reach their full potential.
That’s why registered clubs within the Penrith community have come together through ClubGrants to support these organisations, contributing more than $150,000 in the past year to help ensure families can access the care they need.
Clubs contributing to these important services include Panthers Penrith, Penrith Golf Club, Penrith RSL, Kingswood Sports Club, St Marys Rugby League Club and St Marys Diggers & Band Club.
The funding is supporting organisations including the Clontarf Foundation, local PCYCs, the Top Blokes Foundation, Ted Noffs Foundation and Don Bosco Youth & Recreation Centre.
The advertising campaign will be delivered across a mix of geo-targeted marketing channels throughout the Penrith region, including:
- Thirty-second recorded ads shared across streaming services
- Print advertising in the local Western Weekender, Nepean News and The Penrith Panthers Extra Time Sports magazine
- A combination of organic and paid social media activity.
Several clubs have directed funding towards PCYC, who are the largest provider of community sports and recreation across NSW. Each year, they engage more than 11,000 young people through programs that build capability, encourage active lifestyles and foster stronger community connections.
Additional funding has been provided to the Clontarf Foundation, who work to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, equipping them with the skills to participate more meaningfully in society.
The funding highlights the important role local clubs play in supporting the next generation, allowing young people to grow and thrive. Through ClubGrants, clubs continue to invest in projects and services that address local needs within the Penrith area.

ClubGrants is one of Australia’s largest and most established grant programs and is a partnership between ClubsNSW and the NSW Government. It commenced in 1998 to formalise the longstanding practice of clubs responding and contributing to local community needs.
Over $126 million in financial support for community services, projects and programs was provided in the year to 31 August 2025 under the ClubGrants scheme. That figure exceeded the mandatory contribution required under the Guidelines by over $47 million.
