Member clubs are advised that ClubsNSW has launched an industry fundraiser in support of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research, with all proceeds to benefit the Macquarie University MND Research Centre.

The fundraiser was launched during the closing session of the 2026 ClubsNSW Conference & AGM on the Gold Coast today, following a powerful conversation between actor, author and television personality Matt Nable and sports journalist Danika Mason.

Matt shared his family’s experience with MND and reflected on the impact the disease had on his late brother, Aaron. The discussion came at a time of heightened awareness of MND following NRL player Jai Arrow’s public diagnosis and ongoing advocacy efforts.

ClubsNSW has made a donation of $10,000 to kick-start the fundraising campaign, and encourages member clubs to consider donating if they are in a position to do so.

To donate, please click here. All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided by email.

Funds raised will help advance vital research into MND, a progressive neurological disease that affects thousands of Australians and currently has no cure.

ClubsNSW thanks member clubs for their ongoing generosity and commitment to supporting important community causes.
