Overview
Responsible Gambling Board Oversight (RGBO) is a mandatory training program that equips club directors with the knowledge and capabilities to foster and lead a culture of responsible gambling at the board level. The course addresses key governance responsibilities, including board oversight, auditing processes, and reporting obligations under the Gaming Machines and Liquor (Harm Minimisation Measures) Regulation 2024.
This course is for
Club directors required to meet their obligations under the Gaming Machines and Liquor (Harm Minimisation Measures) Regulation 2024 must complete this training. This includes all newly appointed directors, who are required to undertake the course within three months of their appointment.
Timeframes and exemptions
- Directors who have already completed Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG)
- Clubs with no gaming operations
