Overview
Workplace incidents can have significant effects on people, operations, culture and the club’s reputation. This course provides directors with information to support oversight of work health and safety systems, policies and risk controls. It is intended to help boards understand their role in safeguarding employees, contractors, club members, visitors and others who may be affected by club operations.
This course is for
Directors, board members, CEOs, senior managers and club leaders with oversight of workplace health and safety governance, risk management and assurance.
Requirement
While not mandatory, this course is recommended as part of induction and ongoing education, particularly where WHS is included in board assurance, risk or compliance reporting.
