Relevant for CEOs, Directors

Member clubs are advised that nominations for the two Group 3 director positions have now closed.

As only two nominations were received from Anna Ryan and Grant Easterby, there will not be a ballot for directors.

Accordingly, Anna Ryan and Grant Easterby will serve as the Group 3 directors for the ensuing three year term.

Member clubs should still appoint or update their voting delegates so they can vote on matters considered at the 2026 ClubsNSW Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Voting Delegate Information

Voting Entitlements and Eligibility

Each financial member club of ClubsNSW is entitled to two votes at the AGM.

Member clubs may appoint:

  • two members of the club; or
  • one member of the club and the club’s secretary,

as delegates to vote on behalf of the member club.

A financial member club with more than one venue, whether through amalgamation or separate club premises, is considered a single club and is only entitled to have two voting delegates.

Nominate or Update Delegates Online

Member clubs are asked to nominate or update their voting delegates on the ClubsNSW Manage My Staff Portal before 5pm on Friday, 2 October 2026.

To nominate or update a voting delegate:

  1. Go to Active Staff.
  2. Select View on the profile of the person whose voting delegate status you wish to update.
  3. Select the pencil icon next to Voting Delegate.
  4. Update their voting delegate status and save the change.

Changes or Registration at the AGM

If you cannot access the portal, or your voting delegates change after the deadline, complete a Voting Delegate Registration Form at the AGM registration desk on Thursday, 8 October 2026 between 10am and 1pm.

The form must be signed by the club’s president, a director, CEO or secretary. Incorrectly completed or signed forms will not be accepted, and the nominated person will not be eligible to vote.

Voting Delegates Must Register Their Attendance

On Thursday, 8 October 2026 between 10am and 1pm, voting delegates must register their attendance at the AGM registration desk with a ClubsNSW representative and obtain a voting paddle for use when voting on matters considered at the AGM.

The Rules of ClubsNSW do not allow electronic voting or voting by proxy. Voting delegates must attend the AGM in person if they wish to vote and participate in the meeting.

Voting During the AGM

Each registered voting delegate will be provided with a lapel paddle upon registration to use when voting on matters at the AGM. Registered voting delegates will be required to sit in a designated area of the arena during the AGM to assist with vote counting.

There is no limit on the number of observers of a member club attending the AGM. Observers are not entitled to vote.
