Special Events Extended Trading
Member clubs are advised that Liquor & Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) is currently seeking nominations for events taking place between 1 January and 30 June 2027 that may be suitable for Special Event Extended Trading under section 13 of the Liquor Act 2007.
Member clubs are advised that Liquor & Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) is currently seeking nominations for events taking place between 1 January and 30 June 2027 that may be suitable for Special Event Extended Trading under section 13 of the Liquor Act 2007.
ClubsNSW is preparing a list of events to submit to L&GNSW. We are asking clubs to identify major events in their local area that may warrant consideration for Special Event Extended Trading (and have not previously been designated) and to send us their suggestions. Examples may include:
- Agricultural shows and field days
- Major sporting events or tournaments
- Music, arts and cultural festivals
- Community celebrations and regional festivals
- Significant tourism events that attract visitors from outside the local area.
If you would like ClubsNSW to submit that an event should be considered, please provide us with:
- Name of the event
- Event date and time
- Event location
- A brief description of the event, including its significance, attendance, visitation and economic impact on the local community.
Please send your suggestions to policy@clubsnsw.com.au by COB Thursday, 3 September.
