The figure was announced at the recent Central Coast ClubGrants presentation, which brought together clubs and community groups to celebrate the impact of the funding.
Central Coast clubs have collectively committed more than $1.5 million through the 2026 ClubGrants program to support a range of local charities, community groups and essential services.
The figure was announced at the Central Coast ClubGrants presentation held recently at Gosford RSL, where representatives from 29 clubs connected with community organisations to celebrate the impact of funding.
One of the region’s venues, Mingara Recreation Club, will spread more than $190,000 across 15 recipients including Cancer Council NSW, Central Coast Family Support Services, Camp Breakaway, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Clontarf Foundation, The Bikers Hand, Top Blokes Foundation, We Care Connect and Wamberal Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Mingara Leisure Group CEO Grant Gladman said the ClubGrants program is a powerful example of how registered clubs help create stronger, more connected communities.
“Mingara has always believed in making a significant contribution to the quality of community life,” Mr Gladman said.
“Through ClubGrants, we’re proud to support local organisations that are improving lives and helping our community thrive. Every day, we see local organisations making a real difference in people’s lives.
“They’re supporting families through challenging times, helping young people build brighter futures, providing vital health services and creating opportunities for people to connect and belong. We’re proud to partner with them and help extend their impact.”
ClubGrants is a NSW Government-supported initiative that enables registered clubs to reinvest a portion of their revenue into community services, programs and projects.
Since its inception, the program has delivered millions of dollars to local organisations and has become one of the most significant sources of community funding across the state.
Mingara General Manager Sarah Ferman has seen first-hand the lasting impact of ClubGrants for over a decade.
“Volunteers are often the people on the ground, giving their time and care to make sure support reaches the people who need it most,” Ms Ferman said.
“Local support creates local impact. When community organisations, volunteers, clubs and supporters work together, we can achieve lasting outcomes that make our region stronger, more resilient and more connected.”
