Every day, clubs across NSW prepare thousands of meals for their members and guests, generating significant volumes of used cooking oil in the process.
While managing this waste is an essential part of operations, it also presents an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Vinnies Used Cooking Oil Recycling (VUCOR) is a social enterprise of the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW that provides clubs with a reliable, environmentally responsible used cooking oil collection and recycling service.
By partnering with VUCOR, clubs can confidently manage their used cooking oil while contributing to positive outcomes for the community.
Every collection helps support the work of St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, assisting people and families experiencing hardship across the state.
Current venues that have signed up to the scheme range from Sydney’s largest hotel the Hyatt Regency, through to clubs such as the Liverpool Catholic Club and individual restaurants like Neil Perry’s Margaret.
Clubs have long been recognised for giving back to their communities and choosing VUCOR is another practical way to demonstrate that commitment.
