Overview
Boards of directors are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the club. This course covers the role of the director and the board as well as the duties of directors as per the Corporations Act and the consequences of not complying with director duties.
This course is for
Directors, newly appointed directors, prospective directors, board members and executives who need a practical understanding of director responsibilities and governance accountability in the club context.
Requirement
While not mandatory, this course is recommended for as part of induction and ongoing governance education to support effective oversight and informed decision-making.
