PCYC Partnership
ClubsNSW is a proud partner of the PCYC, with a strong collaborative relationship between the youth charity, the club industry's peak body and its member clubs across the state.
Through the ClubGrants program, registered clubs have contributed close to $2 million to the PCYC over the past five years.
ClubsNSW will continue to help facilitate communication between registered clubs and the PCYC to assist with promoting and delivering key programs, with a specific focus on youth engagement, crime prevention and leadership development, to enable young people to reach their full potential and long-term goals.
Nations of Origin
ClubsNSW supports the Nations of Origin which is a community-driven four day sporting tournament that unites First Nations and non-First Nations young people, celebrating culture through sport.
The program focuses on reconciliation, education, cultural identity and sport - all while have strong foundations around eligibility critteria, including:
- All teams and players being endorsed by the Nations' Elder.
- 80% school attendance.
- No negative dealings with NSW Police.
- All players must be PCYC members.
