Add New, Renew or Transfer CEI Membership

A How-To Guide - Manage CEI Memberships, Purchasing of Courses and Entitlements


Adding new CEI members, renewing and transferring memberships is instant and easy.

Below is a list of actions you can take with your CEI membership and some steps on how to complete them, as well as information on membership term and cost.
Please note that only users with 'primary contact' or 'web user admin' website access can assign new memberships, process renewals and transfer memberships on our Manage My Membership portal. Complimentary memberships can be processed through ClubASSIST (1300 730 001). 


 

1. From the menu, click on 'Services', and under 'Manage My Membership', select 'Renewals'. 

2. Click 'View' to see the full, detailed invoice. 

3. Click 'Renew' to be taken to the payment section. CEI members can be removed in this step too by clicking the bin icon next to a person's name. Enter payment details and submit.

To add a new CEI member, select the “Add New CEI Member” button . A list of members from your entity will display. Click the checkbox for any members you want to add as CEI Members.  Your total membership cost will be updated to reflect the additional CEI memberships. 

CEI memberships can be managed through the Directors/Staff section of Manage My Membership once CEI renewal has been paid. 


 

1. From the menu, click on 'Services', and under 'Manage My Membership', select 'Directors/Staff', which sits under My Entities.

2. From the Directors/Staff list, tick the box next to the name of the person you wish to assign a CEI membership to. Then click the 'Add to CEI' button. 

3. Enter payment details and accept the T&Cs. 

4. Submit to confirm.

1. From the menu, click on 'Services', and under 'Manage My Membership', select 'Directors/Staff', which sits under My Entities.

2. From the Directors/Staff list, tick the box next to the name of the person you wish to remove a CEI membership to. Then click the 'Remove from CEI' button. 

NB: Any complimentary CEI changes need to be processed by ClubASSIST, who can be contacted on 1300 730 001 or enquiries@clubsnsw.com.au.

1. From the menu, click on 'Services', and under 'Manage My Membership', select 'Directors/Staff', which sits under My Entities.

2. Once CEI members have been removed (see previous step), a credit is added onto the club's profile which then enables a new CEI member to be added (through process outlined above in 'Add CEI Member') at a cost of $0. 

3. Select the new CEI member/s, and click 'Add to CEI'.

ClubsNSW has rolled out upgrades to the ‘Manage-My-Membership' (MMM) portal, improving what you will be able to manage across your ClubsNSW membership.

This video provides an overview of how you can report CPD activity.

  1. Log into the Manage My Membership Portal
  2. Click Home and then Click on the Sub navigation item, called Continued Professional Development Activity
  3. Click the Add New CPD button
  4. Scroll and find the CPD Activity you would like to report that you have completed.
  5. Input the date you completed next to the CPD Activity
  6. If the CPD activity required an upload of evidence/certificate to support the allocation of the CPD points, please attach the doc in the upload file field.
  7. Check the declaration tick box and the attached evidence check box and click submit.
  8. You CPD Activity will display in a list under CPD on the portal and will also be captured in Salesforce

This video provides an overview of how you purchase and register for a CEI course.

  1. Log into the Manage My Membership Portal
  2. Click on the Products Navigation item and then click on CEI on the subnavigation
  3. Find the course you would like to register for and then select the Buy button.
  4. A list of sessions available for that course will appear.
  5. Click on the session you would like to register for and click the Select button
  6. Find the users you would like to register for the course and select the check box next to their name.
  7. Click Submit
  8. Then Click on the cart icon
  9. Review your order
  10. Input your credit card details and accept the payment T&Cs and the Live,  Online and L&D     T&CS and click submit
  11. An invoice will be generated shortly which will be available to view from the invoice tab and will also be sent to the Clubs account email address
  12. The users that have been enrolled in the CEI course will receive an enrolment email from the LMS system.

This video provides an overview of how you purchase additional membership entitlements.

  1. Log into the Manage My Membership Portal
  2. If you would like buy some additional Membership Entitlements, click on the Membership Benefits, review the number of entitlements you have and if you would like purchase some additional entitlements for a certain course, click on the Buy Additional button. This will take you to the Products tab.
  3. Find the product you want to purchase additional entitlements for and then update the quantity field.
  4. Click on the Add button and then select the cart icon
  5. Review your order on the left
  6. Input your credit card details and select the check box for Payment Terms & Conditions
  7. An invoice will be generated shortly which will be available to view from the invoice tab and will also be sent to the Clubs account email address

This video provides an overview of how you allocate membership benefit entitlements to your clubs users.

* To allocate a learner to a course, they must already be added to the club profile. To add a new clubs contact, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Log into the Manage My Membership Portal
  2. Select Membership Benefits from the main navigation
  3. Find the course you would like to allocate members to.
  4. Click allocate. The sessions that are available for this course will display.
  5. Click the session you would like to allocate a user/userss to.
  6. Find the users you would like to allocate to the course and select the check box next to their name.
  7. Then click allocate
  8. You will receive a success message, outlining that the members have been allocated successfully
  9. To double check who you registered for the course, click the registrations button and it will list who has been registered for the course from your club/clubs

This video outlines how you can add multiple staff simulatenously

  1. Log into the MMM portal, go the My Entities navigation item. 

  1. Then select the Bulk Upload Directors/Staff sub navigation item. On the page click Download Template. This will open a CSV file. 

  1. In the CSV file, input your staffs details. Input first Name, Last Name, Job Title, Email, Phone Number and under the Club Management Column,  input TRUE under the Club Management section if the contact falls under a Director or Executive role. Please input FALSE if the contact falls under any other staff role. 

  1. Once you have added all staff members, save the file. 

  1. Click the upload files button. 

  1. Search for your attachment and click open. 

  1. Once you see the green tick appear, click done. 

  1. You should then see a success message pop up on the screen, outlining that the contacts have been successfully added. 

  1. Click on the directors/staff tab and find the contacts you have added.

Club Education Institute is an annual financial year membership and from July 2022, CEI memberships are being aligned with ClubsNSW membership, for your convenience.

 Chairperson, President, CEO, General/Secretary Manager (any two positions from every member club)

Complimentary  

Director, Leader or Staff CEI Member 

Supporter Member - Corporate Partner/Industry Supporter (employees who wish to learn more about good governance and  understand how client clubs comply with the industry governance standard)
