One lucky member has claimed a life-changing prize after beating the odds in the Club’s Flowers of Fortune promotion.
A lucky Wests Ashfield member has beaten the odds to walk away $500,000 richer after an extraordinary stroke of luck saw him claim the grand prize in the Club’s Flowers of Fortune promotion.
The life-changing win took place at the Club, following a promotion that attracted almost 16,000 entries from more than 6000 members.
Selected to take part in the grand finale, the lucky member faced a nail-biting challenge, needing to correctly pick a winning envelope across three consecutive rounds to claim the $500,000 prize.
With each envelope concealing either an ‘X’ or an ‘O’, one wrong choice would end his chance at the major prize. But luck was firmly on his side, as he successfully uncovered three winning envelopes to take home the half-million-dollar windfall.
Holman Barnes Group CEO Daniel Paton said the win was an unforgettable moment for the Club.
“What an incredible result! You can only imagine the anticipation as each envelope was opened, knowing that one wrong pick could mean missing out on half a million dollars,” Daniel said.
“With almost 16,000 entries in the promotion, to see one of our members walk away with $500,000 is just fantastic. It’s certainly a moment they’ll never forget, and we couldn’t be happier for our lucky winner.”
The Flowers of Fortune promotion was open to eligible Wests Ashfield members, with entries earned through membership card swipes during the promotional period.
