The Club has been recognised for its economic and social contribution to the Central Coast.
The Doylo has been recognised for its growing economic and social contribution to the Central Coast, taking out the Excellence in Large Business Award at the 2026 Business NSW Central Coast Business Awards.
The award recognises The Doylo’s continued evolution from a traditional hospitality venue into a diverse lifestyle and leisure organisation that creates employment, supports local businesses, invests in community infrastructure and delivers significant social impact across the region.
Chief Executive Officer Brett Elliss said the award was a proud acknowledgement of the passion and commitment of the entire Doylo team, together with the ongoing support of its members and wider community.
“This is a fantastic achievement, but more than anything, it is recognition of our people,” Mr Elliss said. “Our team comes to work every day committed to creating great experiences, supporting our members and making a positive contribution to the community we are fortunate to be part of.
“We also wouldn’t be where we are today without the loyalty and support of our members, local businesses, community organisations and partners. This award belongs to all of them as much as it does to us.”
The accolade further highlights The Doylo’s work beyond its hospitality operations, spotlighting the not-for-profit side of the organisation.
Revenue generated through the business is reinvested into the organisation and community, supporting local employment, engaging local suppliers and businesses, funding community organisations and initiatives, and investing in infrastructure, facilities and experiences designed to improve community life and spirit.
Mr Elliss said the award recognised the important role successful community-based organisations can play in the economic and social prosperity of their region.
“We have always believed that being a successful business brings with it an opportunity and responsibility to create something bigger than ourselves,” he said.
“For us, success isn’t just measured by what happens inside our venues. It’s also measured by the employment we create, the businesses we support, the community organisations we partner with and the investment we make back into our region.
“Every dollar we generate gives us another opportunity to reinvest, grow our impact and help create stronger, more connected communities.”
The Excellence in Large Business Award adds to an exciting period of growth and evolution for The Doylo, as the organisation continues to invest in its people, destinations and broader community impact.
“We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, but we also know there is plenty more we want to achieve,” Mr Elliss said.
“This recognition gives our entire team an opportunity to celebrate what we have achieved together, while continuing to focus on what matters most – our people, our members, our purpose and our community.”
