COVID-19 Updates - 16th September, 2021

3:00pm, 16th September, 2021

Member clubs located in areas which have exited lockdown are advised that outdoor bowling greens may reopen subject to the density limit of 1 person per 2 square metres. The public health order does not impose any additional cap.

Clubs are encouraged to include health and safety measures for bowls in their COVID-19 safety plans, such as managing crowding.

The club’s COVID-19 safety plan should include details of physical distancing controls on bowling greens. This may include measures to promote 1.5m spacing between players or placing a limit on the number of players able to access the bowling green at any time (e.g. 50 people).

Clubs are also encouraged to review information circulated by Bowls NSW.
