Earlier today, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian issued a recommendation that masks be worn in indoor settings in Sydney for the next five days commencing from 4pm today (18 June) until 12.01 am on Thursday 24 June 2021.
As per the advice on the NSW Health website, “masks are strongly encouraged in all public indoor venues, such as retail, theatres, hospitals, aged care facilities and for front-of-house hospitality staff”.
Contrary to previous restrictions, the NSW Government’s recommendation only applies to Sydney and the Blue Mountains and does not apply to the local government areas of Wollongong and the Central Coast.
